“Who’s Indoctrinating Whom?” April 2025 National Call

Twenty-nine states have recently passed laws saying that public schools must work with religious institutions to provide instruction during school hours. Who is behind that change? And how should school boards and communities react when LifeWise comes to town?

Dr. Michael Shaffer has been studying efforts to insert religious indoctrination into schools for years. A former assistant superintendent and principal, he is now associate clinical professor at Ball State University.

Dr. Shaffer will share his findings with Karin Chenoweth and members of Democracy and Education on THURSDAY APRIL 10th.
